Lower Oneonta Falls in the Columbia river gorge on the Oregon side is one of my favorite waterfalls in the Gorge. Oneonta is located in a slot / canyon with numerous It takes a while to hike back through the water trying to not fall or get my equipment bags wet.

If you visit Oregon, one of the drives that you should not miss is the Columbia river gorge. A short drive east from Portland, Oregon will reveal spectacular vistas along I-84 and the Columbia river. A short side trip on the historical highway will allow you to see many waterfalls.
